Azeda Booth released four new songs and four new remixes today as a free EP to download and share. Tubtrek’s new tracks are a fresh continuation of the distinct niche they have carved out for themselves. Both “Samoan Girls” and “Squall” are exquisite examples of pure ambient pop bliss. Also “Well (refilled and set in sand)” is an awesome remix. My night has officially been booked solid. Enjoy! I know I will.

Descriptions of Azeda Booth’s In Flesh Tones name drops like a laundry list of awesome, but most accurate is its correlation to an albums worth of Broken Social Scenes’ “Anthems for a Seventeen Year Old Girl”. Considering that Anthems was my absolute favorite BSS song, I was intrigued instantly. This past week I dove head first into In Flesh Tones, listening to it over and over. Its tracks are simple, complex, sweet, and raw simultaneously. My only disappointment is that it took me this long to hear about them. Enjoy these three tracks that I found especially extraordinary.
