With strong indie-pop hooks, fluidly deep transitions, and duct tape strength stick-in-your-head lyrics Cherry Tree Parade has begun an undoubtably auspicious venture. The acclaim is flowing full force from their newly acquired home town of Kansas City were they have been heralded as the ‘new local band to see‘. With lyrics like Perfectly Polyphonic’s opening, “And I’m a quintessential man by design, perfectly apathetic” I was intrigued; when the dance-infused riffs ensued, I was hooked. Cherry Tree Parade’s self released, self titled EP is streamable on their myspace page and will be available for online purchase soon.
